My husband is in great shape

My husband is 34 and still has the body he had when he was 18, He’s good looking too. I used to secretly wish that he would get a little fat so that we would be a better match in my eyes. But alas he has boundless energy a high metabolism and he thinks running up mountains is the funnest thing you can do. We have three kids and he has started to take them hiking every weekend since I work. More than losing weight I just don’t want to be left in the dust by the time my kids are 10. I really want to keep up. I am so thankful that he is making physical fitness so fun and natural for them at such a young age, I wish someone had done that for me.

FIrst time trying to lose weight

Hey there,
I am new to buddy slim. I am a working mother of three who has been carrying around an extra 30-50 lbs for too long. I have never dieted or really stuck to an exercise plan but I am tenacious when I do set my mind to something, and I have finally resolved to really do this. I started back to work waiting tables in a busy restaurant a while ago and lost a few lbs from the extra movement, I found it pretty motivating and recently I have been cutting back on my calories and watching the food I eat pretty closely. I also have started running a few k 4 days a week and hiking very infrequently ( I plan to do a lot more soon though). With al of that I have lost 12 lbs in the last while. I want to lose around thirty more to be at my ideal BMI. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears! thanks.
